Funny! We didn't miss each other though. I was here last Monday. :)

There's lots of Chinese dumpling restaurants along Garvey though if you come by again and Daikokuya is closed. Mmm. Makes me want to go for another bowl of ramen.

And to think, I considered just leaving when Daikokuya was closed. I'm glad I stayed! Yes, next time let's order shabu-shabu and 50 of those tsukune meatballs...and a salad. Ha.

It was good. See what you missed? Heh. Can you believe it was my 1st time eating buta kakuni? Just one more delicious dish that I will be craving now.

No, this location serves only yakitori and shabu-shabu. The SSG in Gardena and in Rosemead are dedicated ramenyas.

I'm such a huge hiyayakko fan! The version here looked really great as with everything else. I'd be really healthy if I left it at that but buta kakuni is my diet ending kryptonite. Pardon my ignorance, so this place doesn't serve ramen?
